This song has definitely blown me away, this release has the potential to snatch the debut of the year title away from Noble Beast if the rest of it is of this kind of quality. It comes out in a few weeks, I think through Bandcamp, and I'm definitely pumped to hear the final product!

Thanks, I'm glad you dig the song! The digital release will be through cdbaby (so it will be available at itunes, amazonMP3, etc) and we are not yet decided on physical copies, but they might also be through cdbaby.

Here's some more detail:

SAN ANTONIO’S HELIOSAGA TO RELEASE DEBUT THIS MONTH; LYRIC VIDEO “A TOWER SO TALL” STREAMING

Heliosaga has announced the long-awaited debut, Towers In The Distance, available August 22nd worldwide via digital and CD formats.

The album is rooted deep in European tradition, combining the best elements of power, symphonic, and gothic metal and drawws comparisons from such bands as Xandria, Delain, and Leaves Eyes. The name Heliosaga is a metaphor derived from helios, the Greek word for sun, and saga meaning the story/ history; thus, Heliosaga represents the journey of life.

Towers In The Distance’s lyrics are deeply personal, and the primary themes revolve around the state of the world, mortality and the personal struggles that all encounter. Mixed by Michael Hansen (Phonomik, Chainfist) at Phon Studio and mastered by Jacob Hansen (Epica, Volbeat) at Hansen Studios. Bass guitar tracks were recorded by Chad Novell (Fibonacci Sequence) and a guest guitar solo was performed by Gilbert Pot (Elegy).

Really? Debut of the YEAR???

Yeah, so far at least. I can't decide if the Heliosaga beats it or not yet, it's a close call. Skyliner's not bad either, but still not as inspiring as Noble Beast. If you've got something better than that, I'd be happy to listen to it.
