Ok so a bit about me. My favorite metal is melodic death metal. I love: Children of Bodom, In Flames, Dark Tranquility, Soilwork, Amon Amarth to name a few. I also like a lot of the old 80s-90s thrash like Metallica, Anthrax, Pantera, Anthrax, and Megadeth. Other bands I like include: Lamb of God (one of my favorites), Slayer, As I Lay Dying, Strapping Young Lad, Fear Factory, and many more that I can't think of right now. I'm interested in perhaps expanding my horizons to heavier stuff, but I really can't stand most of the unintelligible growls.
I live in the Greater DC Metro Area and am a senior in HS. I just went to my first real metal concert last week: Children of Bodom and Amon Amarth at the 9:30 Club in D.C. and I was blown away. I hope to be back to see Lamb of God in March.
