Let 'er rip dude! You guys fit the bill perfectly and people will walk away impressed... or not. You can't please everyone, so let that fucker fly bro!

I may be coming out to the La Gates of Metal thing too, will have something cool to show you then too. You will be surprised.

Any Arizona dates coming up too? If so, the offer still stands for the BBQ and pool party at my house. Email me when you get a chance dude!

Yeah we have bad news about that LA festival. We are in Italy at the Gods of Metal Festival that day, so I know we can't do it. The label is going to find a good replacement for us though! Thats he good news....

I'm still waiting for the US dates, but I'm sure Arizona will be on. That is in my top 5 favorite US states for sure!

Hey Tim, or Intoeternity, whatever you want to be called...nothing important, but I thought you might want some random praise.

I wasn't a fan of you guys a while back, but we don't really get many good bands through Winnipeg, so we decided to go. You converted me, and I own your cd...great stuff. It's too bad I wore a white shirt into a mosh pit of black though...made me a target :(

Point is, if you put on that good of a show for probably less than 100 people at the Zoo, I can't wait to see you guys in Atlanta. Here's hoping that you get a much deserved following of fans.

Oh, and I really wish the Canadian media would focus on quality bands like you guys instead of f***ing Avril Lavigne. Do you guys come back to the prairies now, or are you constantly on the move?

Well maybe we should get a hot 18 year old girl in the band.....then we would crush Canada!
We want to give 100% no matter what. Hopefully we can start doing more Eastern Canadian shows now...it can be a tough market.....

Thanks for the support!

metal!

Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it to ProgPower USA, since I'm in Europe, but I can easily say that those of you are going are in for a treat. Into Eternity is an excellent band and I'd like to congratulate Glenn on his bold move getting them in the bill.

I only own one of their CDs, Dead or Dreaming, and believe me, it's an incredible release with tons of prog touches running through their compositions. If you're put off by death vocals or have never been able to get into this type of singing, I recommend you give these guys a chance, cause they may be the ones to change your opinion.

I wish bands like this played my neck of woods. You guys are really lucky. I'd love to help spread the word on Into Eternity and since I've come across a post from Tim, it would be cool if he could contact me.

Enjoy the show, guys!

I definitely can't wait to catch you guys at Progpower! :D And I'm even more excited to hear that you'll be touring the US soon. I've been hooked on IE since I first heard Dead or Dreaming. I sure hope the tour announcement includes Nevermore. ;) *keeps her fingers crossed*

Hey Tim, this is just a new fan of you guys, I am truly impressed by the quality of Into Eternity's sound, I cant wait to see and meet you guys!! Now, I was curious to know what some of the band's influences are. Sometimes I hear a little bit of Opeth here and there, as well as Maiden at other times. What other bands do you guys consider an influence and how much does that affect Into Eternity's music? =)

Hey Prog Maiden! Cool...that's great to hear! It's a good feeling to see all this support for the band! Thanks for getting the albums!

So I downloaded all of the new Into Eternity album....

I LOVE IT. I'm going to buy it ASAP.

And they say that mp3's are destroying the music industry....

Great works guys.
I agree, for a band like us downloading can be great promotion. I can see how bigger bands with huge fanbases might be upset but.....I think its a good thing...

Tim,

It's good to see that there are some artists that recognize that MP3s can be their friend. I, for one, buy about 100 CDs a year. And almost none of them would be purchased had I not heard the entire CD on MP3 first.

I also tend to think that Metal fans recognize that the bands in this genre are struggling, and in turn genuinely want to support them so that they may continue to produce great music.

Hopefully we'll get near you on this tour coming up!
We all have a ton of influences.....too many. I myself love death, power and progressive metal. If it's good, then I like it. Originally I grew up on the Bay Area Thrash sound...stuff like Forbidden, Testament, Megadeth, Annihilator ect...

My favorite bands are Nevermore, Death, Zero Hour, Arch Enemy, Yngwie Malmsteen and Pain of Salvation. I still dig Deicide. I have all their albums and yes I know they love Satan...ha-ha. I worshiped Maiden as well, so they were an early influence and still are. I think the last few Dickenson albums were amazing!

Influences are all over our music. I like the energy that death metal has and the off-time riffs, fast solos and interludes from progressive metal. I think it's the best of both worlds to combine them.

I hope this helped....tough question.....ha..

Yo Tim,

Glad you guys are gonna play PP5....and I wouldnt worry about toning it down....you guys are gonna rule PP5.....Also looking 4ward to seeing you guys on this US tour you mentioned....If you play Philly I'll buy you guys a round....

Tim,

I am a huge Into Eternity fan and cannot wait to see you guys at Progpower. You guys are the band that I am looking the most forward to, and yall are playing first, what a start for the show! I remember when the PPV setlist was released, I shit my pants when I saw Into Eternity. Hell yeah I don't think you should hold back any of your heavier songs like,Selling God,which is one of my favorites. Cant wait to see you guys and hopefully meet up with yall.

would love to see you come to albany, ny on your us tour. venue: VALINTINES, NEW SCOTLAND, ALBANY, NY 12205
SARATOGA WINTERS, RT.9, COHOES, NY 12047

contact. TED ETOLL, at www. stepuppresents.com

so Tim,
Are you guys going to bring any merch with you. Several bands that didn't bring shirts or stuff realized they could have made a load of cash. If it's economically feasable for you guys to bring over some tees, I'm pretty sure you'd make a bundle...Rage didn't and we had to rely on the dealers. I'd rather pay the band for their merchandise, not the middle man. SO....my two-cents says 'Bring some stuff to sell'
Thanks!

Tim, I think the new Into Eternity album is one of the best albums I've ever heard! Seriously! It's amazing! Thanks for putting so much effort into creating a masterpiece of metal!

Gotta say the new CD will be one of my favorites this year, too, among a veritable ocean of great releases (everything from Ozric Tentacles to Evergrey to Dimmu-- oh, wait, that was 2003, nevermind).

Tim, I'll add my voice to the others: don't tone down your sound for ProgPower. Your fans will appreciate a full-on set, newcomers will get a true taste of what Into Eternity is all about, and for those who honestly can't take it, well.... They can always step outside and buy CDs or something. :tickled:

IE has always been on my own personal list of bands that I'd like to see at PPUSA and I was actually lined-up to be a co-sponsor for y'all this year at PP. Things eventually shook out a different way, but I'm happy as fuck that you're playing; it'll make an already-great festival that much more.....crunchier. Even in milk. :D
