I'm Madeira, it's nice to meet you all. I'm an 80's/glam/sleaze/hair metal fan *ducks to avoid rocks* yes I know, most mocked genre of music ever, but I have my reasons for liking it, namely the fact that it's utter wonderful silliness saved it from ever being ruined by pretentiousness, that and let's be honest here... there's just something about a dude with big hair in extremely tight leather pants.

Other than that I'm 18, a trained makeup artist, and published writer. I live in Williamsburg Brooklyn with my record collection.

I like some stuff that's pretty silly really.. Manowar Gloves of metal video springs to mind. It just entertains me.

The things I would do to Brett Micheals and Micheal Monroe if given the chance *grin*

I think part of the appeal to me, is that the musicians of these bands are highly groomed, and hyper-sexualized... almost to the point of being the male equivalent of centerfold babes.
