Greetings t'all of ye of like minds.
I've been a metalhead for most o' the last quarter of century, believe it or not. Used to play some mean guitar m'self too.
Yet it has taken me an eon to discover Nevermore (and Symphony X). I just can't believe it. I know I've been busy living the normal life with the wife and the kids, but still...
Progressive metal is pretty much my cup 'o tea but i can tolerate pretty much anything as long as it's not death metal growling.
Current faves are Mastodon, Symphony X, Nevermore, Dream Theatre (more of a love affair actually, on and off), Planet X, Spastic Ink...and a whole bunch o' other stuff.
