Hello... I'm a U.S. citizen stuck in a South Korean army infantry division.
I have dual citizenship, so I had to join the army because of the mandatory service law they have here... To say a little about myself, I have been playing the guitar for almost ten years and have studied at Musicians Institute (GIT) in CA. I love metal bands such as Opeth, Death, Meshuggah, Behemoth, Cannibal Corpse, and stuff like that... But I can listen to just about any kind of metal as long as it's heavy. I have a little less than 10 months left to serve here and I've been getting really bored lately. People here only listen to Korean pop music witch I think is complete trash. I seriously haven't met a single soul here who knows or has even heard of any of the bands I just mentioned. I plan on going back to Cali a few months after my service to continue my musical quest and I just wan't to get away from all this crap music and hope to meet some people who actually listen and understand the music I love.
