Help for Metal Camp Stage Plot! (Gavin & Co.)

Your explanation isn't too clear,..

but maybe you have to reverse the stage plan (amps are back to front)?

Sometimes stage diagrams have to be set out a certain way for people to "understand (even though it's just the reverse, which you could do with a photocopier... fools!)

I think -Noodles- is probably correct. When I see stage plots, it's typically 50/50 as to how they're drawn up. Sometimes its from the bands perspective so the drums are in the back (would be at the bottom on a piece of paper) with the amps while the sidefills/wedges/vocal mics are at the front (top of the paper). The other half of the time it's from the audience's perspective; completely opposite.

Sometime the live sound company I work for doesn't even get stage plots, just input lists and such.

Uh, isn't that why you write "front", "back", "stage left" and "stage right" on the stage plan??

usually you don't *need* to write that... Venues (at least) can work it out.

So, are we on the spot with the problem - or am I missing it?
