Help, is my Bass pure mud?!?

Hi guys, just moved into a NEW place. I ordered some Bass traps that are on their way from the USA, and are greatly needed. My untreated room sucks so I have been relegated to headphone usage...

Anyhow, Can someone critique and let me know if my Bass sounds ok?!? OR what I should do to help it in this metal mix?

Ive always had a shitty time mixing bass as its a real bitch sometimes.

Just curious to hear if theres any suggestions for it helping the mix in this song I made.

your bass is not mud...but since your guitars are mosquito like, it makes the bass sound like that... try lowering around 100hz and fix your guitars. boost @90, @500 and cut @4k

see how that goes.

are you suggesting I tweak my Bass, or my guitars with those settings

i assume he's talkin about your guitars seeming i hear no bass in the 500 Hz or the 4 kHz zone.

Haha, Yah, I kinda read through that too quickly. Anyhow, I applied those settings and I think it made a nice difference. I boosted 3db at those frequencies on my rhythms elec guitar tracks!. Sounds a little fuller..
