Help me ID this band!

[The Fiddler]

During Saturday's PP USA show, I was enjoying some tunes played over the PA. It was about an hour before Reading Zero came on when I heard a song that really got my attention. However, I didn't completely understand the guy identifying the band, song, and release at the end of the song.

The song had a definite Dream Theater vibe, mixed with some heavy moments. Here is the partial information I have:

Band: Ascension _________. I don't know the last name of the band, but am pretty sure that the first name was "Ascension". The last name may have been "Angel"

Song: "Warrior"

Release: "Regeneration" (I think that was the name).

The song was played about 4 tunes after "Wasted Years" by "Iron Maiden".

Searches on the internet for more info have been unsuccessful. Help me if you can.

Thanks. I have the disc on order, but it will be cool to have the MP3s to hold me over until the disc comes. Man, this vocalist has a sweet, smooth voice. This is a must for all DT fans.
