I dont know why i have so much trouble wrapping my head around it, but for years now ive always loved movie sound tracks and i notice a lot of bands incorporate that type of percussion into there music wether it be for intros, or little bridges in songs. Its loaded with what seems like hundreds of random hits but is very fluid and i am interested in trying to get into this style of writing because im kind of getting tired of the usual drums guitars bass stuff. Since i know none of what i just said made sense, let me post a link to a band that has it in an intro. What im basically looking for is tutorials, or guides or what the style is actually even called.
