hey guys i'm new here. i'm in a band. i'm a bass player. i have 2 Music-man Stingray's i use for my band. I use ernie ball power slinky's on both of them. (55, 75, 90, 110). My maple Stingray i recently got it set up by a luthier for DGCF and to use also in drop c for my band. it was set up with the same power slinky guages. for the first 2 days there was little to no fret buzz even in C. but now its coming back and it's bugging me. i' used to the tension of power slinky's in E standard which is a lot of tension but i need it because of my aggressive pick attack. does anyone think i should increase the gauge for DGCF and CGCF? my ltuhier told me there was no way to completely get rid of fret buzzing but i'm thinking maybe if i increased gauges it would help stop buzzing.
