I just bought EZdrummer, I had battery but wanted something different, the clips some ppl posted here and there convinced me to buy it.
So, I started to have problems with the sound of it, first of all, low levels in Sonar ( like -6 on snare, -12 on toms and -19 on the hihat!), I end up pumping levels with compressors on everything.
It wouldn't be a problem, but I end up with my guitar bus going at -12db most of the times, is it normal? ( my guitars go, at a push, hitting the -3db mark, so it's not clipping and I'm not driving them too hard)
Then the other problem, the sound of it, the snare for example, lacks crack and punch, same with the kick and toms. Do every guy in this forum using EZdrummer has the same problem at first?
I know one of my problems mixing is I'm using a old pod2.0, that has so much bottom end and clutter things, but hipassing solves the issue.
Dunno what to do now, sure you guys know something about this
