EZ Drummer 2 review

I agree with the general consensus - great upgrade and no install issues.
Not too bugged about the tom routing, since I'll just run the MIDI through SD2 to get them on separate tracks after everything's done.

I ended up getting the Nashville kit, which is pretty decent and has it's place ...though I like MM better.

It's great. Sound is great. Interface is slick and well thought.

Just slapped it over Katy Perry's cover and it cuts trough like a champ with barely any tweaking.

I'm no longer using Superior or SSD since I got EZDrummer 2. I'm pretty impressed with it, but the new presets for old EZXs have really blown me away. Toontrack have effectively made all of their previous products sound better! Not to mention they have made it ridiculously easy to work with now. Toontrack are really going to have to do something awesome with the next Superior for me to walk away from EZDrummer.

Oh yeah, I was blown away when I realized I could now just load up any drum from any expansion. WOW!!! Now I can easily mix and match any drum from any expansion without having to go through the X drum bullshit.

Way to go Toontrack! EZDrummer 2 is a home run!
