help with scales

I'm going to write a war theme!

Any recommendations which scales to use?

Starting out on egyptian would be cool. Then progress into anything minor... add cool drum chops and a slow bass/synth strings part somewhere in that. But hey, that's just my opinion. Also, at the end get a sweet major scale so it ends in an upbeat kind of way.

dont stick to a scale more than 2 days .play them all over the fretboard.

I already have minor for the end (The After-War time), so it's quite sad, what I#M looking for is a scale for the battle, I will try the egyptian scale, thx so far!

Try different modes. I always find that the modes have something good to find when I'm lost for scales.

for the war scene / battle part, i suggest a fast aggressive chromatics sections... or use a bit of Harmonic minor scaling... kind of like egyptian... but more variant !!! tell me how that goes for you
