Is there anyone who lives in Helsinki that could tell me if there are any good cd shops ib the city. I live in the uk and am going to Helsinki in February. I would appreciate any help...I am after black metal mainly....also how much is an average cd? I need to make sure I bring enough with me!!!

Well the shop that I mostly use is called "Keltainen jäänsärkijä" which is in the central area of the city so it should be easy to get to (I can give you stuff like the address or things if you need them via pm). It's actually quite a small shop in size but it has a suitable collection of stuff and is a lot cheaper than the big-size shops usually are.

A new cd usually costs about 20 euros (at least in the big-size shops), but cds that are a bit older than that you can get for 10-13 euros from the shop I mentioned. At least most of them anyway.
