doesn't matter at all, the beatles still sold the most records ever, 1,3 billion sold records, who
needs a number one hit every 5,35th human could own a Beatles record...
And it's way easier and cheaper to sell music today, my dad was a huge beatles fan and elvis
fan but he wasn't able to buy alot of the stuff because there were no shops or other ways to
get the records, today you either go to a shop, buy it online or whatever.
+1
and also there were half as many ppl as audience who possibly could buy are record that is more expensive and harder to get than today.
Also not a real surprise anyway there..."popular music" has it's name for a reason....there's a lot of worse stuff that sells better than most other stuff I'd consider quality music around here.

mhhh... well, i'm not sure who's the one to judge, which music is good and which is crap... can we (i mean as a "metal" community)? and why? i mean, we're the minority, it's kinda arrogant to claim to be the ones who know, what "good" and what "bad" is... i respect all music, and really think there's only a "different" (well, at least almost always.. if 99% agree that it's crap, then it might be so )... and maybe the success proves all the pop-guys right
Katy Perry is fucking hot.
Did she mean to participate?yep, in every possible way, even my girl agreed!
