Your singer isn't bad, she just sings the wrong things (melody wise) ... she's good when she is singing long, changing, sustained notes. Not good in rhythmic one-note stuff ...

Knowing that, I think you should give her long, ringing chord progressions to sing over, instead of chugga-chugga-riffs. Especially in the chorus ...

I get what you mean... I've been told that what she does fits very well... so, its all personal preference... and I can't please everyone... so I'll go work on pleasing myself...
