Here's to 2016!

Happy New Year everyone! Have a safe and fun year. Looking forward to more music, Steve! :)
 
Last year I smashed my resolutions pretty well. Here's my aims for 2016:
  • give up alcohol for January
  • do 30 day squat challenge - for those buns of steel ;)
  • get back down to 168lbs or less
  • do a 5km sponsored run
  • carry on climbing/bouldering
  • practice guitar every day
  • be more creative - write songs, make stuff, make a video game/app
  • get a promotion or a better job
  • explore the world as well as last year - 5 new countries to beat
  • sky dive before I'm 30
  • learn to drive
  • go on mountain hikes
How about you guys? Any ambitions you wanna smash this year?
 
Some good stuff on that list Dom. Definitely get the driving sorted....I left it late in life and didn't quite appreciate what I was missing out on to a certain extent.

I've got a couple of things on the list for this year which I'll reveal more on in due course :)
 
Will do! Wallet depending. Driving in London isn't a cost effective affair :/ Nor terribly efficient way to get about actually...

Cool goals, Dom! Love to see people motivated around the new year - true champs stick with those goals throughout the year :)

My goals for 2016 are modest. This recent Mexican restaurant that opened up near me has dealt a fatal blow to my workout routine and I've put on a couple pounds that I need to shed before spring! So, getting back into my 5-day-per-week gym habit needs to be top priority. So hard to want to work out after shoveling down such amazing food ;)

Outside of that, I plan on buying way more music this year, move into a new place with a couple great friends probably in March or April, meet some of my musical heroes this spring, and accomplish some more writing.

well happy 2016 to you all but mine and my wife's didn't start that well...
My wife had her gall removed and i had a serious crash (well i wasn't responsible) somebody drove me off the road and i rolled over...

Fucking hell dude! I hope your wife is recovering well after such an ordeal. I know what it is like to be involved in something like this so please send her my best wishes mate.....to you both of course!

There really are some idiot drivers on the road who should not be allowed to drive

That's insane dude! So thankful you're alright! Amazing how some morons are allowed behind the wheel of a car. I hope you're getting every penny out of them!

Also, had my gall bladder removed too and sincerely hope your wife is getting enough pain meds. Wouldn't wish that ordeal on anyone :(
