Heretic - Breaking Point

Well, here's an album that's a complete bitch to track down on CD... until now that is, because it's getting reissued:

Lost and Found Records USA has signed a license deal with Metal Blade Records to reissue HERETIC's 1988 LP "Breaking Point". The album will be remastered by legendary producer Bill Metoyer at Skull Seven Studios.

"Breaking Point" was the second and last release from HERETIC after vocalist Mike Howe left for METAL CHURCH. Both guitarist Brian Korban and bassist Dennis O'Hara joined ex-METAL CHURCH vocalist David Wayne to form REVEREND in 1989.

An April release is expected.

Now how about re-releasing those Reverend albums as well?

Fantastic! I've been really please with MB's reissue jobs they do. They also remaster the music perfectly - they don't crush it, but make it pretty comparable to modern levels.

That is great. I have "Breaking Point" on cassette. It was released on disc, but has typically been a bit pricey when I was looking for it used.

Yep, they really put in some effort, the reissue of Armored Saint's Symbol is a fine example. I don't know how this will compare as it's not actually Metal Blade releasing it but as long as it's on a CD and there's a booklet I'm happy.

I just have the MP3's of the album on my computer. Works well for me since I don't listen to CD's really anymore, just my iPod.

I enjoy this album.
