So bit of a shame as alot of the bands sounded horrid and their seemd to be loads of technical problems with the backline and the couple of iLives at the FOH position.

But in saying that, Devil Sold his Soul sounded huge, as did Verse, Glassjaw, Andrew WK, but the real eye opener was Madball.

First time I've seen Madball and live the gtr sound was butter and seemed to make every other bands sound like a wasp in a crisp packet.

He had a BC rich and a 5150 but to me also sounded like a Palmer or HK redbox blended into the mic'ed cab.

Anyone got any info on these guys, I was totally blow away by this.

Great small festival though and getting better ever year and no real violence and general good vibe.

Yeah I watched half their set but I was busy losing my wallet at that point but it sounded fucking brutal and the lighting was the best all weekend. The bass was making my arsehole shake hahaha

I think it cool a metal band can just rock up and everyone loved it, its all the same at the end of the day, and IMO I would much prefer to hear something them or some brutal death metal to post hardcore stuff, Pianos become teeth; I thought the singer was gonna cry.
