The Keytar is about as appealing as playing the accordian and looks just as silly - unless you're Weird Al Yankovic.

The Roland AX 7 has a transpose feature which should move you up or down by octaves so you won't really need that many keys.

not to be judgemental but do you even know what you are actually getting? you do realize that this is simply a midi controller, which means it produces NO SOUND OF ITS OWN. you need midi cables (or a wireless setup) and another keyboard, sound module, or rack unit to actually make sounds. I dont know what keyboard you use, but until you have a good one I wouldnt bother with extras like the keytar.

its a casio ctk-496 its pretty decent for myself im about to get a korg
