hahah! very nice!

I just got an email from Half.com yesterday saying "WANT TO MAKE $12.93? RESELL 'ARE YOU SHPONGLED?' ON HALF.COM"

no thanks :p
but they've been doing that for every cd I've ever bought on there this week.

and... do you have any of the vinyls yet?

Hey Dead-How is the new one compared to their back catalog?

It's hard to say because each album is so drastically different from each other. The production on the new one is obviously better. It's a little more uptempo than the first, but it has some of the same "worldliness" (is that even a word?) than Tales of the Inexpressible. Not nearly as much much flute on the new one, but lots of cool trippy vocal stuff going on more than the others.

I really like it. It's not my favorite, but it's definitely worth the $20 I had to pay on Ebay for it (it's not released in the US yet).

Thanks for the info...I will be picking it up...I heard a few samples on their website and it sounded very interesting. I am always looking for music that is pushing the progressive edge...thanks again... :Spin:

its different than the last albums, but yet still retains that style..

I just cannot believe how great the production is though. I've always thought that with each previous release, the album has had the best production I've ever heard, and on the new one, he steps it up even more. Incredible!

so any idea on the US release of this? I haven't seen a date anywhere.

No idea at all. I suppose you have to just keep your eye on Ebay. I have my ebay prefs set to e-mail me whenever a new listening with the word "Shpongle" is added. That's how I found mine. I think I paid a total of $24 for it, including shipping from the UK.
