Cypher- Think Emperor remixed by NIN then add a touch of "Grand Decrelation of war" style Mayhem....
It's just so diffrent to evrything else that I have it's great.
Technicaly it's black metal but only in name.

The AMGOD album- This is a bit more straight forward but its still damn good.
Download some stuff and you'll see what I mean, Gallery of thoughts is nothing compared to these two.
How's the book

ive heard some of their stuff. the music hasnt clicked in my mind yet so i cant really make a judgment just yet.

well, as I said, I only know the Art.Gallery Of Th., and that tune in Finnish is great (although I heard it some 2-3 years ago, or something like that..., lost the tape in the meantime), but the opening as well. hope that they didn't change going 'in the wrong direction' since then though... meaning..... ??? they went towards black/er or how (wishfull thinking)?

basically they do everything not typical of black metal...

no funny satan lyrics (great song titles like "Intelligence is Sexy"), nice production, tons of electronics..

overall a very unique and special band.

AMGOD and Cypher both highly reccomended.

The reason they got so much shit was they wern't copying Emperor like everyone else was trying and failing to do. They did their own thing, and in some ways its better than Emperor(Blasphemy I know but.....)
