I've been looking for a board to discuss metal that's not full of trolls and racists and was recommended this place. Hopefully it's a cool place.
Half of what I listen to is metal (mostly punk-oriented grindcore) and the other half is mostly psychedelic pop, British pop (late 70's to early 90's), indie rock (pre-2003), 90's alternative, and shoegaze.
Sabbath, Maiden, early Deicide and Morbid Angel, Napalm Death, Brutal Truth, Nasum, early Slayer, Earth (US), Eyehategod, Suffocation, Godflesh, Ulver, Woe (Philly), Mutilation Rites, Weakling, Bolt Thrower, Anaal Nathrakh, and early Darkthrone are my favorite metal and grindcore bands.
