Hey max...

Well I'm not now since its done... of course.

Decent Episode, but definitely not worth the 2 weeks wait it was going to be. Granted, I don't like the direction they're taking this story arc, but with 2 episodes left in this half of the season, it could quickly fly through the shit I hope doesn't happen.

The producers of Battlestar Galactica may have already set an end date for the popular science-fiction show, but that doesn't mean it's really the end of Battlestar Galactica.

The Sci Fi Channel show ends its four-season run at the conclusion of this season, but could live on in the form of something it's already very familiar with--made-for-television movies. The Chicago Tribune reports (citing BSG fan site Galactica Sitrep) that talks are under way to produce as many as three telefilms set in the Battlestar universe.

The films, which could be shot later this year, have the blessing of at least part of the cast and the producers. However, with some cast members already planning their post-Battlestar careers, timing of the movies' production and actors' availability will be paramount to which characters' stories get told.

Apparently talk of getting the movies made is just talk, but it has been agreed that the films would not take place after the events of the fourth season. Rather, they will tell tales of past events, like the telefilm Razor did last November.

Sci Fi still has not yet dated the back half of season four, but it's assumed the final 10 episodes won't premiere for a while and could be held until 2009. Sci Fi has greenlit the Battlestar prequel Caprica and has begun assembling its cast, which includes Esai Morales and Eric Stoltz.

Totally hope the movies happen!

Also, it seems next weeks episode is also airing early in the UK! Frak yeah for the UK!

Yeah... the whole delay this week had something to do with Memorial Day Weekend, so most channels in the US don't air new programs due to the lack of ratings from people traveling... I guess Sky just said "fuck it, its not our holiday and we're sick of receiving complaints" and got the go ahead to air it 3 days before the US.

Yep, they used to follow American broadcast schedules until the amount of complaints during the early run of Star Trek Voyager and SG1 made them just show it week by week, regardless of American holidays/sweeps etc.

I'm not sure how long it will last though, especially considering it hits American viewing numbers substantially.

I like this episode better on the second watch... there are a few truly great scenes in this 40 minutes. And it does setup everything for the rest of the series, or atleast the next few episodes, very well. Will probably be a very "misunderstood" episode.

Bet Sci Fi channels going to have its worst ratings ever these next 3 weeks, since it seems to have been confirmed that every episode up to the mid season break is airing on Sky on Tuesdays.

Also, the audio quality on the Sky TV rip is waaaaaay better than any episode from the SciFi channel, either rip or actual broadcast. WTF.

Yeah, decent quality is 349, 720p with h264 is around a 1gb, maybe more.

I usually go for 720p, but I wanted it FASTER.

Good quality rip they did with it, thats for sure.

But its more than worth it for the Tigh and Adama scene...

Not to mention with

***spoilers***
Tigh in charge of Galactica, theres a Cylon... in charge of Galactica. And Adama's not around to talk sense into him. Something has got to happen!

The Sky rips I've seen are usually from Sky HD. Sky is superb quality anyways, even on the more basic packages.

PS. Thankfully Battlestar is better this season than last.
