PodWorks, or Xpod of something along those lines to access the mp3 files directly on the ipod without using itunes is one to get. The hide the songs for copy protection, and this will give you access to them. As far as hacks for the G5, I wouldn't mess with that at all. It's a solid machine, and running OS X, why take the chance of messing it up, and making it run like it's retarted cousin, Windows?

Oh..fellow Mac nerds. Kleo, as far as the G5 goes, Paul is right. Don't mess with it too much. I'm running one myself and it's been smooth as a baby's bottom since day one.

I will suggest downloading either MacJanitor and/or Onxy for advance system maintenance and optimisation though, both programs can really make a difference. If you’re really keen for more info, google will turn up more info than you can imagine.
