June 1 - June 30 = No beer or whiskey for NAD

"Last week I was so desparate for a beer I snuck into the football stadium and ate the dirt under the bleachers."

I tried cutting all mind-altering substances out of my life for a month... I realized that I could very possibly do it, but I found myself lacking a reason.

I'm telling you dude, you'll find out that it's extremely easy to do, but after a while it becomes absolutely pointless and you give in...

dude you don't have to quit until you start experiencing a dull ache down low in your back each morning.

you guys remember the news story about the alkiholical guy who cause he couldn't drink that shitz anymore he would have his girlfriend give him a liquor enema and his large intestine would absorb the booze? he passed out and died cause his ass had a drinking problem:err:

you going to give up beer in the heat of summer? ... good luck

there is no reason to quit anything until the doctor tells you to.
I used to smoke 2 packs a day from 17-25 years old ... then had some stomach problems ... doctor told me to quit ... did it cold turkey and never smoked cigarettes since.

but you might want to slow down on the drinking ... if you are home alone and you are wasted ... that is usually a bad sign.

This isn't a permanent thing, this is to a) aid in my quitting smoking because I only like to smoke when I drink and b) kickstart my metabolism so I can drop 15 pounds like nothing. I don't think I'm an alcoholic or anything.

That's really really really...... . . ... . funny. :loco:

dude ... if you are going to quit smoking as well ... be prepared for a weight gain ... for sure

Sometimes I do that for fun, but I spend the evening headbanging, dancing, and making stupid threads on this here forum. :loco:

Last time I quit I put on 10 pounds because I would come home from work and instead of smoking I'd eat bread and hummus, then two hours later eat a full dinner. I didn't notice until I had done it for 6 weeks straight. I only smoke once or twice a week right now so I doubt the weight gain is going to happen.

Texan dies after wife administers sherry enema

February 3, 2005 - 1:03PM

A Texas woman has been indicted for criminally negligent homicide for causing her husband's death by giving him a sherry enema, a police detective said today.

Tammy Jean Warner, 42, gave Michael Warner two large bottles of sherry on May 21, which raised his blood alcohol level to 0.47 per cent, or nearly six times the level considered legally drunk in Texas, police detective Robert Turner in Lake Jackson, Texas, told the Houston Chronicle.

"We're not talking about little bottles here," Turner said.

"These were at least 1.5-litre bottles."

Warner, 58, was said to have an alcohol problem and received the wine enema because a throat ailment left him unable to drink the sherry, Turner told the newspaper.

"I heard of this kind of thing in mortuary school in 1970, but this is the first time I've ever heard of someone actually doing it," said Turner, who led the lengthy investigation in the case.

The woman admitted administering the enema, but denied causing her husband's death, the Chronicle said.

A dispatcher for the Lake Jackson police said only Turner could discuss the case, but he did not return phone calls from Reuters.

Along with negligent homicide, Warner was indicted for burning her husband's will a month before his death. Both charges carry maximum penalties of two years in prison.

She surrendered to police on Monday and was released on $38,600 bail, the newspaper said.

ok ... my bad then

check this ... beer is bad if you want to lose weight ... it bloats you and ads on pounds.

mixed drinks or straight stuff like Jack, etc ... ususally lot of sugar, so this is bad also

my recomendation .... fuck cold turkey ... have a glass of wine every night ... great with food and gives you a nice buzz ... plus it's supposed to be good for your heart and you won't gain any weight either.

of course ... I am most likely wrong about this :loco:
