Listen to Slayer; Mercyful Fate; King Diamond; Emperor; Bathory; Morbid Angel, Judas Priest; Black Sabbath; etc.

Emperor has a large amount of good songs.If you start out with Bathory try one of the more epic ones like Twilight of the gods or Hammerheart.
