The edge of Forever
I remember reading on Wikipedia a long time ago that Micheal Romeo had something to do with a rendition of the Star Wars theme or something along those lines? It was Wikipedia, a while ago so who knows if it's true or not. They said it was a Hidden Song or something along those lines.. Probably rubbish. Anyway, anyone have any closure for me? I don't want to seem stupid, but I just remember reading it and was just curious..

badass... but, before i join, what other songs are on that thing?

I believe there are 6 tracks...

- Inferno demo tape (hilarious vocals :headbang: )

- Different version of Eyes of Medusa (called Gates of Misery, which is the same song with a different chorus and solo section)

- Song from Damnation Game era that didn't make it on the album

- Alternate intro to The Odyssey

- Star Wars Suite

actually that Damnation Game song DID make it into the album and it's called A winter's dream pt.2 but the demo version in sung by Rod Tyler before he left the band. i like it, he takes the song to a plane so different than Russel, and both versions are very good IMO.

I actually forgot about that song completely. I was refering to the song... Disillusioned, or something like that.

oh, you meant that one. i think that song is actually a kind of medley of some of the songs in the self titled album. my guess is it was composed before the release of the album and then it someway transformed into various parts of other songs. i like it too, it has that "Hi, im michael romeo from NJ, and i want to shred your heads off" feel.

The CD is worth the buy just because of "inferno demo" and the "star wars suite"

Both songs are very cool. inferno is just funny, and the star wars songs is soooooo awesome.

Take it from one who has the CD, it is amazing!!!

I believe its a while supplies last thing, + jax has already announced disc number 2 is under construction :)

I noticed part of the solo section is part of the solo section in Witching Hour

Fan Club CD '08: "Paradise FUNK'd"

1. Papa's Got a Brand New Bag (Mike Lepond lead vocals)
2. Jungle Boogie (extended keyboard solo)
3. George Clinton Instrumental Suite
4. My Girl (acapella/choir version)
5. Ain't No Sunshine (Jason Rullo lead vocals/drum solo)
6. Celebration (played entirely with the "Domination" bridge chord)

Oddly enough, Russell seems to missing from this, the band's most soulful outing to date.
