It's a really long story. I always make these stories long because I pretend I'm a great story teller!

that's what i've found in some other topic ....

also in some other topic Steve wrote a cool story of drum set that made him Death bass player ...!!!

then i thought about Walter posting some cool stories from the past on Testament forum ...

and so ... Steve ... i'm sure u got like thousands of stories that would make all of us turn into ears or rather eyes in this case ... so please, don't hesitate to share with us some of those when u have some time to spare ... like f.e some funny moments during many of the tours u took part in ... or in the studio ... or ...i don't know ...but u do!!)

aaaa... and coming back to the first sentence of this post don't worry that your stories would be long - we don't mind

f.e any funny/weird stuff that happened during the gig u took part in ??? bandmates made a joke on u or u made a joke on a bandmate ??

let me give u an example - well two days ago we were in Prague to see Suicidal Tendencies - they are on tour with some HC bands like Madball, Ignite, Death by Stereo, Sworn Enemy, Backfire etc.
...so during the last ST song - which was "Pledge ..." Backfire singer got onstage wearing ...... knickers&..sunglasses only ...spent there a whole song dancing, clapping his ass and stagediving ....
I took some pics of that
he didn't seem to be very sober to me :Spin: and later on backstage he was following all the ST members saying " hey guys .. u know i didn't mean any disrespect"

Nov 14 at NJ Metalfest, we went out to the Nevermore tourbus and hung out with Warrel for a bit, then we went to the Dimmu bus. as soon as we get there, Gene walks out of the Dimmu bus and stares at us like "WHat the hell are you doing here?" while we're wondering the EXACT same thing

Hippie, you mentioned once how you got into Death line-up, its that drums story I guess...
Could you please tell us a little bit about Chuck (RIP)? What was he like as a person? Did he have any other hobbies besides music? He went through a lot of bad times after SH, the whole line up left him behind, lots of journalists talked shit over him. How was he taking all that? How was he taking his cancer? Was he trying to explain that cancer with that things he went through in the past? What was the reaction to his cancer of all these ppl who left him behind in the past?

I hope you will tell us something about him, sorry if I`m too much nosy.

I remember a long time ago, me and several friends were in the back of some alley in San Francisco... of course we were in the dark area smoking some green stuff when all of a sudden we heard a noise down the street...

We see these TWO HUGE LUMBERING SHADOWS coming at us... we were all probably 18 or 19 and we started freaking out... oh shit, OMG... what the fuck... all stoned out of our minds... we mumbled amongst ourselves wondering if we should like find bottles to counter attack, or if we should just run out to the streets....

As they got pretty close, we were pretty fucking scared.... then all of a sudden I realized it was Gene and Ron walking towards us... I started lauging and said "hey guys, we're here to see you play! tear it up!!" or some shit like that... so we shook hands, and possibly mentioned something about what we were just thinking, so we headed out to the street and went our seperate directions.

I'm pretty sure it was the night that Death cancelled ... my friend Steve is a big RR fan, and he was up front when Ron put the microphone in the crowed... he grabbed it and started singning a few words... Ron looked really suprsied and let him sing probably 4-5 more lines... about a minute I would say... After the show they shook hands and were talking for a bit, but I'd had enough and went outside for a cig.

That's about the end of that story...
