While I am all about visiting this place myself, a pre-party thing seems a bit out of the way from The Pearl Room!

My suggestion is Rock Bottom, which is not too far from The Pearl Room (right on LaGrange Rd.). For those non-beer drinkers, they have excellent food as well. http://www.rockbottom.com/RockBottomWeb/RBR/Home.aspx
