Sounds about right. You're not supposed to try and make the HM2 sound 'good'.

I think it sounds pretty sick, just definitely turn the vocals lower in the mix, way too loud. Needs to blend a bit better with the instruments.

Funny you say that, 'cause that's definitely one of the best-sounding and less "scratchy" HM-2 tones I heard. If you lower the vocals a lot, this should be a pretty cool mix for its style.
