Hobbies next to music?

-My work (Which is the most time consuming one, i work as stage builder (is that the word?) and followspotter for the Dutch Mamma Mia Tour. Working for the biggest musical production company in Holland)

-Kite Surfing (When it's nice summer weather, problem is i don't really live close to the sea, so when i feel like surfing i have to drive 2 hours or so)
-Movies
-Gaming

Dude, Yes! I have been into Slotcars for years but have recently "retired" it as a hobby coz my music just takes all of my time. I got about 100 cars and have built 3 permanent tracks (every time i moved house). I love setting up the cars - techy nerd!

Yeah. I moved to a new house 3 weeks ago. Don't have the money yet to build a new music room where I can do all my music stuff. So until january/february I'll be spending my time putting down a permanent track also?

What have you been using? I now have the Scalextric digital track, works perfect. Used to use the Ninco, worked good at first, but later on got boring to me, seems to drive completelly different then the Scalextric tracks.

Hahaha I sometimes enjoy acting like a gay dude and not being it (I certainly wouldn't be ashamed if I actually was), I have a pink tattoo on my back, and enjoy desperate housewives and grey's anatomy, and sometimes act pretty gay-ish, not ashamed of it.

Ninco track is too rough for me although the extra width is good. I have Scalextric Sport track which i think has a great smooth surface but i have never got into the digital thing. I did try Scalextric Dig. when it first came out but there were no lane changing straights only corners which was a bit rubbish. Think i have spent too many years racing on a wooden track with no magnets..which incidentally is awesome. Have you seen some of the tracks in spain? (where the hobby is huge!) So cool!

I would love to run some laps on that. The largest track i had at home was 100ft: it was the whole of my loft space. I ran a small racing club there and it was so much fun - really miss it.

This thread made me realize that I actually have none right now

I can't say music is a hobby for me anymore since I'm now studying it.

I guess I could say East Asian culture since I'm pretty interested in it, but then again, I'm probably going to be studying that too in university eventually, so I don't know.

Used to skateboard and snowboard a lot, but not really anymore since all my friends have quit. My wrists and ankles are all fucked up from them too and I don't want to ruin them more.
