Holocaust.

I have just ordered the 'Nightcomers' CD by Holocaust. What a fantastic album that is! I have got it on vinyl and will now hopefully have it on CD. But it is a special order, so I'm not that confident of getting it.

And what makes that CD all the more better is that they have added the original version of 'Heavy Metal Mania' (a truly great N.W.O.B.H.M song), plus 'Loves Power' and 'Only as young as you feel'. Three great songs originally released on a 12' (which I also have).

I am also after Tank's 'Filth Hounds of Hades' on CD, but amazon can't order that one. Can anyone recommend some good websites for CD's?

Holocaust is a great band. I have The Nightcomers on my must buy cd list. The only album I have so far by them is Spirits Fly. Cool album, but definitely not your ordinary metal. This album takes a whole lot of the listener to get in to.

I've never heard Filth Hounds, but I've heard it's supposed to be a killer album.

I can't say I've ever heard anything by Holocaust.
As for Tanks Filth Hounds it is a good album ain't it.
Check out www.vip-24.com for links to small record shops that stock lots of old second hand(but good condition), and brand new viynl and CD's Pax. Make sure if you do order though, order from the independent shop as the main site has alledgedly crap fire walls and therefore your card details are availible to everyone (so I was told).
Better than both these bands and albums though is Angel Witch.

I was just thinking. I also have a Holocaust vinyl album that is a test press copy of an album. There are no details of the album, no name, no song titles, just a plain white cover and nothing on the record label. I had to try and work out what the song titles were myself! I can't remember what I wrote down off hand, but I think Satalite might have been one of the songs. Anyone got any idea what album this might be?

Yeah Angelwitch are quite good Dickie, but I must admit to preferring Holocaust. Was a good night a few years back when Angelwitch and Samson played the LA2. Then Saxon the next night on the N.W.O.B.H.M weekend. They should do that again, maybe do a three dayer this time. How about when Saxon play in October? Now that would be well cool!

Do you mean the song 'Smoking Valves' Hawk? If so, that song is the first song on Nightcomers. Or have they got an album called Smoking Valves out?

Would love to get some info on Holocaust. Are they still around, have they got a website etc. Anyone know anything?
