I bought Lateralus at 8:09am the day it was released, I still have the receipt around here somewhere. The friend I'm going to Coachella with on Sunday cracked and downloaded the album today, haha.

He was telling me about how the rumoUr goes that the leaked album is actually a fake? As in an entirely fake album made up of B-sides. He was saying something about some toolband.com update in September of last year they finished recording leftover material and... I dunno. I mean I haven't heard this yet, but how rad would it be if they swindled all you downloaders like that?

but I think the leaked one might not have been fully mastered or something

I walked into my local HMV yesterday and some employee was like "hey, are you a Tool fan?" so i talk to him for a minute about the album and then BOOM he goes in the back and comes out with the case in his hand. he let me hold it, look at it etc. Fuckin awesome, can't wait to buy it!
