So I'm finally home from Iraq for good now.

I've had a chance to play around with my gear over the past couple days and here are some of my findings-

NS-10's sound like shit

A $1200 Bogner cab with V30's sounds no different than a XXX cab with V30's

A Diezel Herbert sounds amazing and can do any style of music.

Thanks guys. Studio Time for sure! I need some DI tracks to throw through my Herbie if anyone has em!

I'd love to hear what you (and the Herbie) can do with 'em! :)

And also, of course, welcome back Eric! And the sonic differences between the XXX cab and the Bogner cab might appear under a mic, but then again, maybe not!

Welcome back! Glad you're in one piece!

Don't forget, my offer is still on the table about prototype amps & the Million Dollar Saloon! (it's a writeoff anyway!) :)

Welcome back mate. Glad to hear you've made it back safely and can get back to doing your thing.

Funny thing about the Herbie. A local artist I've worked with a bit bought one not too long ago saying it was the most versatile and awesome amp he's ever used (the guy is old enough to be my dad, so he's been around the gear block a few times). He checked out a 5150 III the other day at a local music store, subsequently bought it a few minutes later and put the Herbert straight on the market!

The Herbert sounds amazing and can do so many genres, but for someone like me who only plays metal, a 5150 does the same job at least as good for less than 1/3 of the price.

Good to hear you made it back safe bro - thank's for serving...I appreciate it more than you know!

Good to hear you can also get back into gear. Do you have the dough for a Herbert? I've heard of their versatility and just kick-ass tone. I'd go for it.

He already bought the Herbert a while back Joe :)

WB Wolfey, time to get into da audioz.
