Those dual-cores do look thoroughly badassed. It's a shame that they cost in excess of $2000 AUD.

The most expensive AMD is the new dual core 64bit series, they look le badassed. 1mb of cache.

Yeah.. Multiple Cores are the future.. I would like a quadcore, 1 cpu to do the household (disk i/o, PCI i/o, screenredraw, mule'dl) and 3 for your plugins & stuff..

For me its too early, European Steinberg rep has warned against buying dualcores right now.

BTW the Pentium M has 2 megs of cache, that's also why he scores so high in Doom3. Guess its good for plugins too, the more cache the better.
