One thing I can never do in superior is get those rides to sound nice a thin but ringy and clear and ideas?

The bass is really low in the mix (i also think it probably needs more lows). The kick is too flabby and boomy, needs more punch, focus and highs imo. Guitars could maybe do with a bit more meat to them. Sounds pretty good, just some tweaks and it'll be great. Do you have that Superior preset btw? I quite like the snare.

made some changes, not sure if you like the snare as much though.

I like my snare to snap but remain dark sounding was but I get a bit pissed of if I can hear too much compression.


I do mix dark thats my katatonia influences though...

guitars need more gain and punch. they are pretty weak. sounds like it's pumping as well.
