i have just bought a new fireface 800, mainly because its pretty widely regarded as the best interface in its class, and its got the awesome i/o. you guys helped alot with this decision
i wanna try and install the drivers/totalmix and get things going..but whenever i power it on, i get the host led error..the red light just stays constant. the rme manual says this has no power, but i dont quite fully understand what this means?
im using a p4 centrino duo laptop, but im getting another laptop tomorrow to try it out.ive connected the fw400 to a fw hub (no fw direct in on the laptop). ive searched the forum for a possibly similar thread, with no luck sad
i cant wait to use this puppy..so your help would be greatly appreciated
