I think its about 42degrees where I'm at. The smoke finally clears from the sky, and the sun gets out and makes things hotter...

Yep its about 42 in Melbourne too. It's unbearable... I really hate summer.

It got to 44 in Melb, and 42 in Geelong today.
It doesn't bother me much. Temp at work is set at a stable 27deg all year, so I'm kind of used to it being warm.

It's too fucking hot right now. I went for a swim in a river in nearby Warrandyte. Which was nice.

Hottest temperature I've experienced was 48 on the Zambia-Zimbabwe border. That was fucking hot.

Hottest I've experienced was about 45 in Bali, so today wasn't far off!!!

46 or 47 in Broken Hill one Xmas was the hottest I've felt - and that was in the shade too, much hotter in the sun!

I remember walking over to a friends house and the asphalt was melting to the bottom of my shoes! And ever worse, I lived in a aluminium shed at the back of my parents' house that was converted in to a studio... no airconditioning and DAMN did it get hot in summer!

I was in 53 degrees in Burke in the middle of Summer once. Thats what it said on the weather. It certainly FELT like it, but I dont know if it was right, that seems awfully hot. Ill never ever go back there though, ever. Ever.
