For me it's very close between Seasons and Reign but I'd have to go with Seasons.

Can I vote for all of them? I'm still waiting for a bad Slayer record. Initially I didn't like Diabolus, but it as aged quite well, in fact I may like it even more than the new one.

Oh yeah - I went South of, that album is just soooooooo dark and eerie ~ I love cranking it during snowy winter days, just like I always listen to Reign during storms. Slayer are the rulers.

Seriously though, Reign in Blood and Seasons in the Abyss are tied for me...although I love Show No Mercy, and Hell Awaits is incredibly cool, if only for the title track.

Yeah, ya know, I've even heard of people dissing Divine Intervention and that album is ten times more aggressive than Seasons In the Abyss , although both are killer. It just slays me (no pun intended) when I hear people say that this record sucks and that record rules, when they are yet to put out a dud.
