How could I improve this recording?

Hi, this is my first 'project' so I know it's not very good. But what should I be doing to mix the instruments together better? This was just a quick record so the actual tracking is pretty poor, but i'm doing this song to improve mixing, not tracking.

It's not metal because I can't get my interface working so I am using my POD. (Hate the distorted sound's I get from it)

Good Playing = Better Mix
Shit Playing = Shit Mix

If your planning on working on shit to try and fix your mixing skills, then you are not going to improve.

Do it right or dont do it at all.

As said above, poor tracking will greatly affect your mix in a negative way, both playing and gear-wise. And yes, wrong section
