How do I get this board to stop sending me messages?

Go to your profile and settings and make sure you don't have it set up to notify you about responses in threads. What exactly do you mean?

Well, I'm not sure if this is what you mean, but in the options in your profile there is an "email notification" or some such thing that sends you emails when someone posts, or something like that. Turn it off and bask in the glory of the email free Opeth board!
