in cubase i'll put like a stereo doubler on a stereo track but the input source is mono

how do you do this on pro tools
when i try to select the input it only lets me choose a stereo input

route to a stereo bus OR make a stereo track and duplicate the left channel to the right channel

...and IIRC if you use stereo plugins to mono tracks it converts the output to stereo

hmm but not all plugins have that

for instance, AIR Chorus doesnt have a mono/stereo version

yet if you bus the crap out of it, you can get a mono audio signal to have stereo chorus... (meaning that its possible for the plugin to generate stereo content from a mono source, yet it doesn't have a mono/stereo version)

and the only way i can figure out the bussing is to literally make two tracks...
that would get pretty crazy for all the chorus vocal tracks i do
