How many people have you introduced to Opeth?

Introduced them to about everyone I know. 2 Liked it and are Opeth fans today

Whenever I introduce someone to Opeth, they look at me like I must live on a city on the moon...or something...then they hear the death growls....

I must admit, when I was introduced to opeth I loved the music (though it's the first metal band I've known) but despised the growling...

As time passed, I really got into the growling so now opeth is simply perfect to me.

Not everybody connects to the heaviness or growling immidietly, because this music has a bad name (I mean, when people hear metal all they think of is the devil. At least most of them). But opeth make such a wonderful thing while still remaining heavy.M-azing!

I've introduced them to... about 7 people more or less

yeah, to be precise, I've turned on about 9 full fans, the rest only like the acoustic stuff/Damnation.

Well, I have tried to almost every friend there is.
But only one or two of them got really in to it. One of them loves the damnation record as much as I do. Some other loves it all.

I even got one that likes country and old pop music to like one song, can you imagine? (the leper affinity)..
