How many times have you wanted a TS built into an amp?

i can allready see it coming: lot of kids getting that amp and putting their old TS before it..."sounds br00tz maaaann!!"

amps that are tight enough from themselves don't need a tubescreamer, it's just so that a recto is a bit muddy (too much bass in the preamp probably) that a tubescreamer works really well with it.

mesa recto with some kind of tight boost that cut some lows before distortion happens would be pretty cool.

As I think I said before, I don't really see the point in having a pedal built-in to an amp.

It's just more neat and convenient. No extra cables and power supplies and it's still foot-switchable. Plus it costs around $50.
