Lurch, if you're into bourbon, have you tried Jim Beam Black? I reallllly reccomend it... it is aged 8 years instead of the standard 4, thus giving it less of a burn in the back of your throat and a sweeter taste (at least this is how I felt about it).

Good call on the JB Black. One of my favourite drinks. I stick to white label for most of my dietary needs, but when I've got the extra few dollars I'll go all out.

Totally, most people just don't get it! People my age tend to think that all alcoholic drinks are the same, and that they serve the one purpose of getting wasted. I don't drink crap beer... if I want to get hammered I'll have some cheap rum or something. When I have good whisky or good beer, I like to savor it and actually ENJOY the experience... save the crap for partying is what I say.
