Let's throw out another silly question shall we?
O.K. I'm a big collector of music, and I sometimes pay, what may seem to some, a hefty price for some rather rare and collectable piece of music. Usually it's been deleted for some time, or sometimes it happens to be something I simply can't wait to get my hands on.
So what I'm asking is, what is the most you have paid for some rare or out of print C.D.?
I'll start the ball rolling.
I recently bought a copy of Kryst The Conqueror's C.D. E.P. for $80.00. For those unfamiliar with the item, it's The Misfits without Danzig, and with Jeff Scott Soto on vocals. There was a mere 1,000 copies (I think) printed up. They were in legal limbo, while they went through the courts to obtain the name The Misfits.
A high price, yes. A crppy five track E.P., yes. Hard to find, Fuck yeah!
So, anyone else have a sad tale on obssession they'd like to share?
