im listening on tiny ass computer speakers...but as silly as that looked i think the extreme eq sounded better than the no Eq...the original sounded deader than chelsea's nuts lol

Surely with that EQ it just made the guitars louder with a little less low end? If he turned them up and added a bit of top im sure the result would have been better.

The source sound was indeed the most dead guitars ever, but it didnt become better.... he just boosted the whole frequency range lol

Hahaha that's Jim Davies from Prodigy/Pitchshifter and... Victory Pill, obviously (the one in the black at the start of the vid). I was always under the impression he was like a "cutting edge" producer? This is horrific. Then again he's more of an industrial/dance guitarist so he'd be approaching it differently from the rest of us I s'pose!

It reminds me of a dude I knew who would ring out monitors by just pulling sliders on the graphic one at a time until everything had been pulled. I referred to this as the "forearm method" B/C it looked like he had just pulled his forearm across the entire eq in a downward swipe.

haha that's horrible. In another video they normalize all the guitar parts first. Notice that all the faders are at -25 or more?

I actually like that album though, came out fine.
