Id like to know because ive been thinking that the funeral homes in my area fucking suck...They are old, christian and still have astro-turf on the front! I dont even think they have newer model hearses for shits sake! i wouldnt trust those crusty redneck bastards to bury my dog!
In my random bouts of pondering i thought opening a funeral parlour would be pretty cool...but how does one go about doing that? any ideas?

I was in mortuary school for a while....it's really expensive, at least in my experience. Look online, see what's in your area...I dunno where "Hell's Half Acre" is so I can't help there, but there should be some schools around you...or you can take correspondence classes perhaps.

Start randomly killing people and burying them around your yard... give yourself a bit of experience, something to put on your Resume. Someone just may notice your potential!

BWN, i live in northern California...i know theres one in San Francisco but i have no idea how to get into those types of schools...

You apply to them like any other school.

You need to be licensed to be a mortician and each state has its own regulations and laws concerning that.
